[Bearbrick] Series 20 - War Machine

I don't usually collect Bearbrick but when I know Iron Man will be included in Series 20, I need to get one.
They are sealed in a blind box so collectors need to be lucky to get what they want. And this is the series line-up. Waaar Maaachiiineee !!! The figure features ball jointed shoulders, ball jointed hips, hinge jointed neckand and hinge jointed waist. And he comes with a collectible card.

I was lucky to get a War Machine which is considered as one of many secret versions. Three figures with 1/192 assortment ratio even have its price sky-rocketed to about ten times of the original selling price. What are people thinking nowadays?

[Marvel] Spiderman and friends

I think no one will not recognize who this man is. He's Spiderman, the best known hero in comic books. And Spiderman has a lot of friends. They look so friendly.

[Review] Mcfarlane Prince of Persia 3.75 inch Series - Warrior Dastan

Warrior Dastan of the latest Prince of Persia The Sand of Time movie is immortalized into a 3.75 inch figure thanks to McFarlane toys. Judge it yourself with these images.

Armor details and paint are way better than Hasbro's Marvel Universe and Iron Man 2 line. The two swords can be put into the sheath on his back.

Close up with his armor and face. You can see the armor is sculpted to look like its movie counterpart. It is done good considering its size.

The paint is accurately applied on this figure with few defects.

The two swords are different and sculpted with details. The color actually looks better in person.

Articulations for the upper body is similar to standard Marvel Universe figures.

But the hip ball joint restricts some of its movement because of its design.

Personally I think this line is a little bit under-appreciated. With wonderful sculpt, paint and good articulations, this line should sell better. Maybe the movie sucked, that's why its sells suck as well.




At this price point of around $6 USD, I think this is a worthwhile purchase. This figure looks good, plays well and fits with your GI joe or Marvel collections. If you like the figures of this size, you should not pass this up.
